After a challenging drive through the mountains of Nigeria, we finally arrived in Cameroon, leaving West Africa behind and entering Central Africa. However, crossing the border of Nigeria doesn’t mean we finished the tough roads; there are still 140 km of challenging road ahead until we reach the tar road. While driving through Cameroon, we saw numerous cacao plants everywhere—along the roads and even deep inside the jungles, hidden between bushes.
Despite facing challenges such as police control, getting stuck between borders, experiencing a breakdown, and encountering some unfriendly people. Cameroon amazed us with its beautiful volcano beaches, breathtaking waterfalls, unique architecture, and cinematic jungles.
We were particularly captivated by the striking black volcano beaches and the untamed jungles teeming with buzzing insects. The mystical morning fog created an enchanting atmosphere that left us breathless.
